We are now two episodes into the series of live webcasts we have been asked to produce for Highlands and Islands Enterprise. Yesterday the guys filmed the whole webcast and set breakdown and did a little time lapse piece. So if you want to see what a 45 minute webcast looks like, in just 30 seconds, here's your chance.

So far we have covered sailing and mountain biking and the guests have given us some fascinating insights into how these markets work.

The other thing which has come across loud and clear is their passion for what they do. Never a bad thing in business. It has been fascinating being involved in these and for me, as an outsider to the toursim industry, finding out a bit more about what works and what is going on has been brilliant.

The audience we have been attracting has also been fantastic. The Mountain Biking webcast in particular had people booking on from South Africa, India, USA and Canada as well as just about every area in Scotland. In fact earlier this week we broke through the 1000 bookings mark which really confirms what we have believed for some time: make it easy for people to access and webcasting will become the communication tool of the future. We are delighted that we are already there and can deliver that future now!
