On Tuesday 28th May our team ran a workshop in conjunction with the elearning Alliance http://www.elearningalliance.org/

During the session at West Lothian College we looked at using some simple techniques designed to help in turning learning materials into video content. The session was largely interactive and to illustrate some of the key points from pre production through to completed project, Thomas and Allan worked with the group to produce the video in this blog. Sure the graphics could be slicker, the interviews could have been shot in various exotic locations and we could have hired Tom Cruise or Angelina Jolie to appear. But that would be missing the point.

What really matters is that you get your message across with the resources you have available to you, in as engaging a way as possible.

For those who took part on the day a big thanks. We hope you found it useful and enjoyable and don't forget if you ever need a bit of advice or just need a simple answer to a question, please do feel free to get in touch. In fact that goes for anyone reading this. We are always happy to help whenever we can.

You can also view the watch again of the live webcast we ran in advance of the workshop. Its on YouTube at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEU3-jSFMow
